Terms of Service

By accessing or using ArchitechIQ ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ArchitechIQ.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• One account per person. Shared or automated accounts are not permitted.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@architechiq.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

ArchitechIQ provides educational content including system design problems, tutorials, interactive simulations, flashcards, and AI-generated reviews. This content is provided for personal, non-commercial educational use.

• You may not redistribute, resell, or republish our content without written permission.
• You may not scrape, crawl, or programmatically extract content from the Platform.
• Your designs, notes, and progress data belong to you. You grant us a limited license to process this data to provide the service.

ArchitechIQ uses artificial intelligence (powered by Anthropic's Claude) to provide design reviews, mock interviews, and feedback. By using these features, you acknowledge:

• AI-generated feedback is for educational purposes only and should not be treated as professional engineering advice.
• AI outputs may contain inaccuracies, hallucinations, or incomplete information.
• You are responsible for independently verifying any AI-generated suggestions before applying them in production systems.
• AI responses may vary between sessions and are not guaranteed to be consistent or deterministic.

ArchitechIQ offers Free, Pro ($99/year), and Premium ($249/year) plans. By subscribing to a paid plan:

• You authorize us to charge the applicable subscription fee through Stripe, our payment processor.
• Subscriptions auto-renew annually unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• 14-day money-back guarantee: if you are not satisfied with a paid plan, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase. Contact support@architechiq.com to request a refund.
• Refunds after the 14-day window are provided at our discretion on a case-by-case basis.
• Prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes. Tax may be added based on your location.

All content, design, code, and branding on ArchitechIQ is owned by ArchitechIQ or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.

• The ArchitechIQ name, logo, and visual identity are our trademarks. You may not use them without written permission.
• System design problems and educational content are our copyrighted works. Fair use for personal study is permitted.
• Your original designs and work product remain your intellectual property. We claim no ownership over user-created content.

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform, other accounts, or our systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or its infrastructure.
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or any harmful content.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Platform.
• Impersonate another person or entity.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ArchitechIQ and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities related to use of the Platform.
• Any errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content, including design reviews, interview feedback, or recommendations.
• Service interruptions, downtime, or data loss beyond our reasonable control.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

• You may terminate your account at any time from your dashboard settings. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice.
• Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Sections on limitation of liability, intellectual property, and dispute resolution survive termination.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable jurisdiction, rather than in court.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
